What makes our brewery "green" ?
Our mission, along with brewing great-tasting beer and supporting sustainable agriculture, is to minimize our impact on the environment.
To this end, we have installed a free-air cooler system and efficient lighting, cutting down on energy consumption.
We use B20, a biodiesel mixture, in our boiler system for all hot water and heating.
We use recycled board for our 6 pk carriers and unbleached paper for our case boxes.
We reduce, reuse, and recycle.
All of our spent grain is fed to local livestock.
We treat our wastewater ourselves with an in-house management system.
We buy ingredients and supplies as locally as possible to support our local economy and minimize transport.
We support like-minded companies and organizations through donations, cross-promotion, events, and more.
